Our Ice Cream bean tree grew very quickly and fruited within three years of germination. The yellow and white pompom-like flowers give way to the bean pods which ripen periodically throughout the year. Inside is a texture of a chewy cotton candy pulp, sweet and snowy white with a flavour that is, just like vanilla ice cream, though don't eat the bean, they are non-edible unless cooked. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In the evening after the veggie garden workshop we will be screening the Regenerative agriculture documentary “The Worm Is turning”, will have a fire and inform/inspire ourselves on how to create and support healthier happier ways of relating with our food systems.
